Pretty sure they’re on the video for lil’pip bro.
1000 subs… this was a lot of fun, and also really bad.
Reblogging myself, cos I want everyone to watch this one :D
So, we’re nearing half way through january, and I’m not really any further into Project FO:E than I was when I first dreamt up the idea. More over, I doubt I’ll get any further before my next session of university arrives. This delay has been for a number of reason:
- Firstly, my band Ex Curia is currently recording our debut album. However, we’re home recording and doing it independently, using our own resources and resources we could borrow (Amp, Parent’s houses <_<). This is sucking up A LOT of time not only in recording, but in mixing the deficits of using real drums for once. This was a decision made by the whole band, but frankly, I think it was stupid. We’ve spent several thousand dollars on miking up a drum kit to ultimately have it sound worse than what I can already with Superior. Whilst this is really more than you all need to know, it does explain why I’m going to be so busy. <END TIRADE>
- I’ve been trying my hand at producing and am recording a local Hardcore band called At The Gallows. They’re a talented bunch of lads, all 17 or so, and I can see them going a long way. However, because they’re all new to recording we’re having to redo a lot of takes because recording guitar IS different to performing it live. More over, because this isn’t my own music and will likely be used for promotion, I’m trying to make it the best sounding demo possible. Again, more time taken up…. plus I might get paid if I’m good enough :P
- I’m travelling to Japan in February. This is a solid 3 week period where I won’t touch music at all, and is right up until I return to university.
SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR PROJECT FO:E?
It means that with all these delays, this project is on a temporary hiatus. I’m not saying things won’t happen, but until a later date, I can’t guarantee anything.
As lame as this will sound, I’m putting this project aside because I have a great passion for it. KKat’s story has had a profound effect on me, and I want to make my musical version the best possible tribute to it I can. If that means leaving it until I have the time/energy/skill set to make that so, then so be it.
Thanks for your understanding.
- Rob
We’ll see.
There isn’t sheet music, but there is a Guitar Pro file with all the individual guitar parts (I think except the final solo).

I just read the final chapter of Fallout Equestria, with Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Save The World’ running the whole time.
I honestly don’t know if i’ll be able to live up to what Kkat has done. It is truly stunning…
Cheers. We’ll see what happens I guess :D
There are a few people who are submitting things to me. Best way to get in contact is questions actually, even if there are no question marks involved. I can reply to those :D
I got the following post from someone, but accidentally borked it up, and don’t know who it was:
First off, I’m sure there is a more direct way of commenting then this, but I’m tumbler illiterate, so please bear with me.
I would also like to note that I have strange tastes in music, and am in no way a musician, this is just one random guy giving feedback. (I’m also someone who has spent hours listening to Lil Pip)
When I started listening at first I noticed it was a bit jarring, which can be a good thing, the wasteland is not smooth.
I don’t know if “riff” is the right word, but I really like the bit from about the 13 second mark to 38 seconds. After that for a bit it seems to get a little too light and happy for fallout.
Immediately after listening I wanted to listen to it again, although I’m not entirely sure it’s a good match for FOE. (That said, I have added it to my music playlist.)
Firstly, thanks for your thoughts. I’m only one guy working on FO:E, and I want to make this something that listeners really can grasp onto.
I don’t know that the middle section was happy so much as it was smooth or graceful. A lot of people on facebook have given suggestions as to what this track sounds like, and I think i’ve finally hit upon it:
*Pause for big reveal*
*cut to commercial*
To me, this is the sound of the Pit when LP first meets zenith. We have the ferocity of the battlefield, the life or death struggle and Red Eye’s industrialization in the early/late ‘riff’. In the middle we have the flowing grace of Zenith, who both physically and mental is living by grace, despite the hardship surrounding her.
Would the original commenter agree? How about everyone else?
EDIT: this was also a user submission.
Get excited? I think I can manage! XD
But really, I absolutely love your work. My mind was pretty blown when I found out the guy behind “Lil Pip” was the same guy who made “Prance (Trotski Mix)”. You are an excellent musician, and I wait to see what you have next!
